AMi  SECURE NEW ‘COVER DESIGN’ CONTRACTS

Specialist GRP cover designers AMi Designs, have recently been awarded a new contract for the design, manufacture and installation of a range of tank covers for the Ballina Waste Water Treatment plant on the west coast of Ireland. The project, handled in conjunction with the contractor Response Engineering, is valued at £110,000.

The contract includes beam and infill covers which are designed to incorporate a bridge across the middle of the tanks (pictured) and also rotating covers which need to suit and rotate with a rotating half bridge and scraper system. The complete contract includes 2 x 8.6 meter diameter beam and infill GRP covers, 2 x 15.3 meter diameter rotating GRP covers and 1 x 24 meter rotating GRP cover.
