AMi designs have successfully installed another odour control cover offering the local businesses in the Lincolnshire town of Pinchbeck a breath of fresh air.

Ami designs had been commissioned to help address the odour emanating from one of the 12 meter diameter tanks at the Woodhead Bros Abattoir by designing, supplying and installing another successful odour control GRP cover.

Partially due to the limited access available around the 6 meter high tank, the decision was made to offer a standard AMi self supported cover design which  allowed the majority of the cover construction to be done at ground level and then lifted into position as a single structure.

After speaking to some of the neighbouring businesses and as cited in the local press ‘Spalding Today’ is is already agreed that “nearby businesses said they have noticed a marked improvement in the odours coming from the factory.”

Local landlord Malcolm Gray said: "There's been a change for the better.

"As far as we are concerned it is not nearly as bad as it was previously."

"We have not been experiencing the major smells we were before."
